A day's drive from most of America
Buchtel sits in Southeast Ohio, which puts us within a day's drive of major U.S. markets. That makes distribution efficient and accessible in a way that ocean freight and customs never are.
Finishing is part of production, not an afterthought. We handle labeling, tagging, folding, poly-bagging, and carton packing to your specification, so goods arrive retail-ready. Ship from Buchtel, or drive over and pick up your order from the people who sewed it.

Common questions from brands
Do you work with startups and first-time founders?
Yes, small-batch production is our specialty, and many of our clients are regional brands, teams, and festivals producing their first serious runs. Come with a sample or tech pack if you have one; if you don't, we'll tell you exactly what you need before production can start.
What are your minimum order quantities?
We don't publish a one-size-fits-all minimum because it depends on the garment's complexity and your fabric situation. We specialize in small-to-mid-sized runs and will give you a straight answer on fit once we see your project details.
Can you work from an existing garment instead of a tech pack?
Often, yes. A well-made reference sample tells us a lot. We'll review it together and identify anything else needed, pattern, grading, fabric sourcing, before quoting production.
Do you source fabric and trims?
We can work with fabric you supply, and we also maintain regional sourcing relationships, including American-grown cotton spun and knitted in North Carolina for our dirt-to-shirt programs. Trims, labels, and notions can be sourced or supplied.
Do you handle printing and embellishment?
Garment dyeing is handled as part of our production services, and we coordinate screen printing with trusted Ohio partners, the Southern Ohio Copperheads jerseys were printed in Carroll, Ohio, and sewn here in Buchtel.
Where does the work actually happen?
On our own production floor at 17645 Bank Street in Buchtel, Ohio, a repurposed historic church staffed by sewists trained in our own industrial sewing school. You're welcome to visit and watch your garments being made.
